I'm Back .... After almost a year of no blogging it has been a crazy year . We have been on the move again . We are now living in Eugene OR . We moved for Mr Rambler my hubby of 9 years.He is loving the life change . He or We have made the choose to go back to school full time to earn a degree in biology . We are very nervous and excited for this new adventure. Meanwhile we are adjusting to being around each other full time. Plus transitioning from homeschooling to unschooling our kids. The best way I have heard unschooling described is "Life Learners "
I'm having to be a LIFE LEARNER to by let go and allow life to just flow . It's been a big change for me to just be relaxed and say YES to it all .
What does it mean to say YES : I have always been a very Type A I like to do list, I love seeing accomplishments , I love a super clean home , plus being overly organized . So for me saying YES was just as simple as not controlling my kids every move. Plus not controlling Mr. Rambler too.
For example: The kids want to play all day I say YES .
Pumpkin who is 7 if she wants to paint , color or create for 5 hrs I Say YES.
Chunk who is 5 he loves to pretend by build huge worlds were he can escape to have fun .If he wants to do it for 1 hr then leaves a huge mess . I don't panic anymore and I say YES. The mess will get cleaned up and chunk will help but I'm not going to freak out or make him do it ASAP.
For anybody who truly knows me the Green Ninja knows I'm a clean freak . I have changed, I have turned a new leaf, I have realized life is to short to freak out or a mess. I'm loving the new me and the new us as a Family .
I hope you will enjoy our journey as a usnchooling Family . better yet as a life learning Family . We realize that life is precious and every changing . We are just lucky to have each other .
